Component Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Replace alternator.
  2. Turn off the ignition switch.
  3. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  4. Clear DTC and Test-drive under Enable Conditions above-mentioned.
  5. Check the "DTC".
  6. Does the GDS show DTC "P0A1A"?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good ECM/ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM/ECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good alternator and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace alternator and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
