Turbo Charger Boost Sensor (PUT) Inspection

- Connect GDS and select "Current Data" mode
- Start the engine.
- Monitor the parameters related to turbo charger on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS as below.
Specification : the change of turbo charger boost pressure should parallel actual engine speed.
- Is parameter displayed normal?
YES
- Inspect turbo charger assembly referring to TURBO CHARGER . If problem is found, repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good Boost Pressure Sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace Boost Pressure Sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
