Injector Inspection

- Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
- Disconnect injector connector.
- Measure the resistance between High terminal and Low terminal of the injector (component side).
Specification:
Temperature (°C/°F) Coil Resistance (Ω) Normal Parameter At 20°C (68°F) 1.30 ~ 1.44 - Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good injector and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the injector and then go to ""Verification of Vehicle Repair"" procedure.
