DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Short to ground in injector circuit
  3. Faulty Injector
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is between 32 RPM and 6000 RPM
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Main pulse of cylinder individual injection time is longer than 0.055 msec.
Threshold Value
  • Injector wire is short circuit to ground. (Detecting with internal diagnostic logic of ECU)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
