DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Knock sensor signal monitoring
  1. Abnormal engine oil level
  2. Faulty spark plug
  3. Clogging of injector
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant is higher than 30°C (86°F)
  • Engine speed is higher than 1200 RPM
  • Engine speed is lower than 4500 RPM
  • Mass air flow road is greater than 50%
  • Mass air flow road is less than 100%
  • Mass air flow is more than 500mg/stroke
Threshold Value
  • More than 3 pre-ignition are detected in 600 stroke
Diagnosis Time
  • Immediately
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
