DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noisy signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short in harness
  3. Electrical noise
  4. Target wheel damage
  5. CMPS (B1-Intake)
  6. ECM
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is between 96 RPM and 3008 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Camshaft segment duration is too short
  • Two Camshaft edges within segment duration is lower than 50 μsec.
Diagnosis Time
  • 5 revs.
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 288 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Camshaft segment duration gradient is lower than 0.25. or Theoretical segment period is greater than 4
Diagnosis Time
  • 12 revs.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
