Check open in harness

- Turn off the ignition switch.
- Disconnect CMPS (B2) connector.
- Turn on the ignition switch.
- Measure the voltage between signal terminal of CMPS (B2) and chassis ground. (Measurement "A")
- Measure the voltage between signal terminal and ground terminal of CMPS (B2) (Measurement "B")
Specification: Voltage difference between measurement "A" and "B" is below 200 mV
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair contact resistance or open in harness. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
