Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Missing signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open in harness
  3. CMPS (B2-Intake)
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • First Crankshaft long teeth is passed
Threshold Value
  • No camshaft edge is detected within ten revolutions
Diagnosis Time
  • 2 revs.
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Out of range
Enable Conditions
  • First Crankshaft long teeth is passed
Threshold Value
  • Camshaft edge is out of range for more than 6 revolutions
Diagnosis Time
  • 6 revs.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
