Visually check CKPS and target wheel

Visually check to see if the CKPS is loose or target wheel is deformed or damaged.
Are the above items in normal operating condition?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
