DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check between TPS 1 and TPS 2
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short in TPS circuit
  3. Faulty TPS
  4. Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed during engine start is faster than 640 ~ 960 RPM
  • No TPS adaption request
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
Threshold Value
  • An absolute value of TPS 2 is 8% greater than TPS 1
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.3 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
