Check IATS resistance

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. IG "OFF". Disconnect IATS connector.
  2. Measure resistance between signal and ground terminals of IATS connector after checking the temperature of IATS with GDS (Component Side)

    Specification:

    -40 (-40°F) 38.88 ~ 50.77 20 (68°F) 2.20 ~ 2.69
    -20 (-4°F) 13.20 ~ 16.83 40 (104°F) 1.02 ~ 1.27
    0 (32°F) 5.12 ~ 6.12 60 (140°F) 0.52 ~ 0.65
    10 (50°F) 3.31 ~ 4.10 80 (176°F) 0.28 ~ 0.35
  3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good IATS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace IATS and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
