DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 Sensor element temperature via measuring element resistance
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty related fuse
  3. Open/short in power circuit
  4. Open/short in control circuit
  5. Faulty HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2 sensor normal heating time is greater than 58 seconds
  • Engine off duration is higher than 60 min
  • Battery voltage at between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • HO2S internal resistance is greater than 1kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
