Check fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) resistance

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. IG "OFF" and disconnect fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) connector.
  2. Measure resistance between High and Low control terminals of fuel pressure control valve (FPCV). (Component Side)

    Specification:  1.09 ~ 1.21 Ω [20°C (68°F)]

  3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known - good IDB and check for proper operation.

    If the problem is corrected, replace IDB and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure control valve (FPCV) and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
