DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the fuel pressure sensor's signal
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Blockage of fuel lines
  3. Fuel pressure sensor
  4. Fuel pump control module (FECM)
Enable Conditions
  • Target fuel pressure is higher than 250 kPa and lower than 600 kPa
  • Engine Running
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold Value
  • Fuel pressure sensor output voltage is higher 3.3V and lower than 4.25V. (it means that fuel pressure is higher than 800 kPa)
Diagnosis Time
  • 10 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • NO MIL ON (DTC only)
