Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Monitor the fuel rail/system pressure - too low
|
- A leaky injector, a leak in the Fuel Rail
- Mechanical failure in High Pressure Pump
- Sticking by low pressure of rail pressure sensor
- Fuel supply system (low line) error
|
| Case 1 |
Enable Condition |
- Engine speed is between 512 RPM and 6816 RPM
- Mass fuel flow is between 0.012 g/rev and 0.36 g/rev.
- Time after engine start is greater than 15 seconds
- Volume of fuel flow is less than 14.5~216 (l/h)
- Catalyst overheating prevention is not active (catalyst model temperature<=960°C/1760°F)
|
| Threshold Value |
- Delivery of high pressure pump is too low
|

| Case 2 |
Enable Condition |
- Engine speed is between 512 RPM and 6816 RPM
- Mass fuel flow is between 0.012 g/rev and 0.36 g/rev.
- Time after engine start is more than 15 seconds
- Volume of fuel flow is less than 14.5~216 (l/h)
|
| Threshold Value |
- Delivery of high pressure pump is too low or over pressure valve is defect
|
| Diagnosis Time |
|
| Case 3 |
Enable Conditions |
- Time after engine start is greater than 2 seconds
- Volume of fuel flow is less than 14.5~216 (l/h)
- Mass of fuel flow is greater than 0.012 g/rev.
- Engine speed is faster than 512 RPM
|
| Threshold Value |
