Component Inspection

IG "OFF".
Disconnect OCV (Exhaust) connector.
Measure resistance between power terminal and control terminal of OCV (Exhaust) connector (Component side).
Specification: 6.9~7.9Ω [20°C (68°F)]
Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good OCV (Exhaust) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace OCV (Exhaust) and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
