DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN message from AAF
  1. AAF faulty
  2. CAN communication line between ECM and AAF
  3. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 2 seconds
Threshold Value
  • CAN communication error with AAF
Diagnosis Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
