Component Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Using a GDS, Clear the DTC.
  4. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  5. Disconnect ECU's connector connected to P-CAN bus.
  6. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  7. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  8. Are any DTCs present?

    YES 

    • Go to step  1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector connected to CAN bus in step 5.
    • Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus.
    • If DTC is present after above test, substitute with a known-good AAF and check for proper operation.

    If problem is corrected, replace AAF and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
