Check open in CAN BUS line

  1. IG "OFF". Disconnect ECM, smart junction box (gateway) connector.
  2. Check resistance between P-CAN HIGH terminal of ECM Connector and P-CAN HIGH terminal of each module. (Measurement "A")
  3. Check resistance between P-CAN LOW terminal of ECM Connector and P-CAN LOW terminal of each module. (Measurement "B")

    Specification:  Below 1.0Ω

  4. Is the measured resistance within specification?

    YES 

    NO
