DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Detects failures of communication between the ECM and other modules which are on the CAN serial bus.
  1. CAN BUS
  2. CAN communication module component
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 2000 seconds
Threshold Value
  • Incorrect CAN message
  • Wrong messages received by ECM for more than 2.5 seconds
Diagnosis Time
  • 2.5 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
