EWGA Inspection
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Connect GDS and select "Current Data" mode.
- Start the engine.
- Monitor the parameters related to EWGA on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS as below.
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good EWGA and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EWGA and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
