Check Generator circuit

- Start engine.
- Maintain ENG RPM of 2, 500 RPM for 2 minutes.
- Measure voltage between the battery terminal (+) and the battery terminal (-).
Specification: Approx. 12.5 ~ 14.7V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Check the condition of the battery (Refer to BATTERY ). Repair as necessary. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check the tension of the drive belt. Check ENG RPM, fuses, terminals of the battery, all terminals of the generator. Check for a damaged harness and poor connections between the generator and battery. If no problems are found repair or replace the generator. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
