Monitor GDS Data

- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" button, Press "DTC Status" to check DTC's information from the DTCs menu.
- Read "DTC Status" parameter.
- Record all DTC's, DTC status and freeze frame data. Does DTC Status indicate "Present"?NOTE:
- History (Not Present) fault: DTC occurred but has been cleared.
- Present fault: DTC is occurring at present time.
YES
- Go to next procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Connect GDS and select Air Conditioner system.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" button.
- Are there any DTCs related to Ambient Air Temperature sensor?
YES
- Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of Air Conditioner (FATC) system.
NO
- Go to next step.
