DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Short to battery in control circuit
  3. Faulty HO2S (B2/S1)
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model) is greater than 300°C (572°F)
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Circuit short to battery
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
