DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Range check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power harness
  3. Open or Short to ground in signal harness
  4. TPS
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
  • Engine operating state at idle (gas pedal value is less than 0.01%)
  • TPS set point is lower than 61.078 degree
  • TPS 1 and TPS 2 ratio failure is detected or TPS 1 failure is detected
Threshold Value
  • TPS_2 voltage is lower than 0.1V
  • TPS_2 voltage is lower than 2.0V at engine idle
  • Short circuit to ground or open circuit
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.05 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
