DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check between TPS#1 and TPS#2
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short in TPS circuit
  3. Faulty TPS
  4. Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed during engine start is 640~960 RPM
  • No TPS adaptation request
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
Threshold Value
  • Difference between average values of TPS 2 and TPS 1 is greater than 8%
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.3 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
