IG "OFF" & Disconnect rail pressure sensor and ECM connector.
Measure resistance between ground terminal of rail pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Below 1Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or contact resistance in ground circuit of the rail pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
