DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility Check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Rail pressure sensor (RPS)
  3. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • No additional warm up fueling (ECT is greater than 73°C/163.4°F)
  • Full load is not active (gas pedal value is lower than 90%)
  • Catalyst purge is not active
  • Fuel trim is active
  • Catalyst overheating prevention is not active (catalyst model temperature is lower than 960°C/1760°F)
  • Leak detection is not active
  • Catalyst heating is finished
  • Engine speed is between 512 RPM and 4000 RPM
  • Mass fuel flow is between 0.012 g/rev. and 0.18 g/rev.
  • Time after start is more than 15 seconds
  • Volume of fuel flow is less than 14.5 ~ 216 (l/h)
  • Canister load is lower than 1.5
Threshold Value
  • The average value from rail pressure sensor is out of range of Threshold Value. (inappropriately high or low)
Diagnosis Time
  • 8 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
