DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility Check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in harness
  3. Wheel speed sensor (FR)
  4. ABS or ESC control unit
  5. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is greater than 1536 RPM
  • Mass Air Flow (dependent on ECT) is greater than 0.67 ~ 1.05 g/rev.
  • No fuel injection shut off
  • No MAP fault present
  • Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is greater than 25°C (77°F)
Threshold Value
  • Vehicle Speed is equal to 0 km/h (0 mi/h)
Diagnostic Time
  • 62 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
