Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the front sub frame.
(Refer to Suspension System - "SUB FRAME ")
- Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "DRIVE BELT ")
- Remove the oil cooler tube (A).
- Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and cable (B) from the 'B' terminal.
- Remove the alternator (C) after removing the mounting bolts.
