Water Outlet Pipe

- Disconnect the battery (-) terminal from the trunk room.
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Drain the coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).NOTE:
- When installing radiator hoses, refer to the figure below.
- Disconnect the O2 sensor (A), water hose (B).
- Remove the water outlet pipe (A).
Tightening torque:
19.6 - 23.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.4 kgf.m, 14.5 - 17.4 Ib-ft)
NOTE:- When installing, apply engine oil to the O-ring and take care not to damage the O-ring.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Recheck the coolant level.
