Removal And Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the battery "-" terminal from the trunk room.
  2. Remove the front bumper.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT BUMPER COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the smart cruise system connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the Active Air Flap (AAF) control unit connector (A).

  5. Remove the LH/RL air duct (A), and then remove the Active Air Flat (AAF).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  6. Disconnect the wiring (A) and then remove the Active Air Flat (AAF) from vehicle.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
