Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover (A).

  2. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel assembly [RH](A).

  3. Disconnect the start switch connector (A).

  4. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center garnish assembly [RH](A).

  5. Disconnect the connector (A).

  6. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel assembly [LH](A).

  7. Disconnect the connector (A).

  8. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center garnish assembly [LH](A).

  9. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Press the cluster fascia in the direction of installation (To front of a vehicle) so that self clips are locked completely.
    • Check the step height difference after installation.
