Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover (A).

- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel assembly [RH](A).
- Disconnect the start switch connector (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center garnish assembly [RH](A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel assembly [LH](A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center garnish assembly [LH](A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Press the cluster fascia in the direction of installation (To front of a vehicle) so that self clips are locked completely.
- Check the step height difference after installation.
