Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Apply the protective tape to the tool when disassembling the components with the screwdriver or remover.
  • Use caution in keeping and handling during disassembling/assembling because it is easily contaminated with lubricant and oil.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
  3. Remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A).

  4. Disconnect the mood lamp connector and then remove the crash pad garnish [LH].

  5. Remove the passenger side crash pad side cover. (Remove the Body - "Crash Pad Side Cover")
  6. Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad garnish [RH] (A) after loosening mounting screws.

  7. Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad upper garnish (A).

  8. Remove the cluster fascia panel (A) after loosening mounting screws.

  9. Remove the instrument cluster (A) after loosening mounting screws.

  10. Remove the instrument cluster after disconnecting cluster connectors (A).
