Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
Information
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Lower the steering wheel.
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel [LH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the garnish panel [LH] (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center panel [RH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad center fascia panel (A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
