Removal And Installation

- Disconnect the battery (-) terminal from the trunk room.
- Remove the engine room cover and the radiator grill upper cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")
- Remove the oil level gauge rod (A).
Tightening Torque:
19.6 - 23.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.4 kgf.m, 14.5 - 17.4 Ib-ft)
NOTE:- When installing, apply engine oil to the O-ring and take care not to damage the O-ring.
- Do not reuse the oil level gauge O-ring.
- Do not reuse the water pipe o-ring.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
