Water Outlet Pipe

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal from the trunk room.
  2. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  3. Drain the coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  5. Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).

    NOTE:
    • When installing radiator hoses, follow the image below.

  6. Disconnect the O2 sensor (A), water hose (B).

  7. Remove the water outlet pipe (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    19.6 - 23.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.4 kgf.m, 14.5 - 17.4 Ib-ft)

    NOTE:
    • When installing, apply engine oil to the O-ring and take care not to damage the O-ring.
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  9. Recheck the coolant level.
