[RH Engine Mounting Bracket]

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the trunk room.
  2. Remove the engine cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")

  3. Remove the engine room cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")

  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  5. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  6. Remove the water inlet pipe.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL ASSEMBLY ")

  7. Remove the RH exhaust manifold.

    (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "EXHAUST MANIFOLD ")

  8. Engine jack oil pan to be installed.
    NOTE:
    • Insert the rubber block between jack and oil pan.
  9. Remove the upper nut (A) of the RH engine mounting bracket, and then remove the mounting support bracket (B).

    Tightening Torque: 

    Upper nut:

    63.7 - 83.4 N.m (6.5 - 8.5 kgf.m, 47.0 - 61.5 Ib-ft)

    Support bracket:

    49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 Ib-ft)

  10. Remove the RH engine mounting bracket (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 Ib-ft)

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
