[LH Engine Mounting Bracket]

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the trunk room.
- Remove the engine cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")
- Remove the engine room cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the steering joint mounting bolt (A).
(Refer to Steering System - "STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT ")
- Remove the engine oil level gauge.
(Refer to Lubrication System - "OIL LEVEL GAUGE & PIPE ")
- Remove the water outlet pipe.
(Refer to Cooling System - "WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the LH exhaust manifold.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "EXHAUST MANIFOLD ")
- Engine jack oil pan to be installed.NOTE:
- Insert the rubber block between jack and oil pan.
- Remove the upper nut (A) of the LH engine mounting bracket, and then remove the mounting support bracket (B).
Tightening Torque:
Upper nut:
63.7 - 83.4 N.m (6.5 - 8.5 kgf.m, 47.0 - 61.5 Ib-ft)
Support bracket:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 Ib-ft)
- Remove the LH engine mounting bracket (A).
Tightening Torque:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 Ib-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
