Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the inhibitor connector (A) and then remove the shift cable by removing the nut (B).

  3. Remove the Manual Control Lever (B) after removing the nut (A).
  4. Remove the inhibitor switch assembly after removing the bolts (C).
