Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Release the Residual Pressure In Fuel Line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  4. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A) after loosening the screws.

  5. Disconnect the sub fuel sender connector (A) and fuel tank pressure sensor connector (B).

  6. Remove the sub fuel sender from the fuel tank after removing mounting bolts.
