Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to scratch or dent the crash pad garnish and door trim upper garnish because these parts are made of weak material (real wood).
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screw, remove the crash pad side garnish assembly [RH] (A).
- Disconnect the emergency light switch connector (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damage clips.
