Engine Mounting Assembly

- Remove the engine room under cover and engine room side cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Disconnect the universal joint assembly from the shaft joint.
(Refer to Steering System - "STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT ")
- Remove the engine mounting assembly fixing nut (A).
Tightening torque:
63.7 - 83.4 N.m (6.5 - 8.5 kgf.m, 47.0 - 61.5 lb.ft)

- Install the jack to the edge of the oil pan to support the engine.NOTE:
- Put the rubber block between the jack and oil pan to avoid damaging the oil pan.
- Lift the engine slightly using the jack to obtain space for removing the engine mounting.
- Remove the engine mounting assembly (A).
Tightening torque:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)

- Install in the reverse order of removal.
