Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause

  • Electrical check
  1. Short to ground in signal harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty OTS
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine coolant temp is lower than 120°C (248°F).
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Engine oil temperature is higher than 153°C (307°F).
