Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause

  • Plausibility check between TPS1 and TPS2
  1. Faulty TPS1
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine speed during starting is higher than 640 rpm to 960 rpm.
  • No TPS adaptation is requested.
Threshold Value
  • Absolute value of TPS value difference between TPS1 and TPS2 position is higher than 7.6%(8°).
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.3 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
