DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Voltage range check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to power in signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. MAPS
Case 1 Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage is between 6V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Sensor signal circuit is shorted to battery power supply.
  • Sensor output voltage is greater than 4.85V.
Case 2 Prerequisite condition
  • Engine speed during engine start is higher than 640 rpm to 960 rpm.
  • Throttle opening is less than 6% to 34%.
Threshold Value
  • Sensor signal circuit is open to ground.
  • Sensor output voltage is greater than 4.35V.
