Fuel Pressure Sensor Inspection

- Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
- Connect probe to signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor connector.
- Start the engine.
- Measure waveform of signal line of fuel pressure sensor during acceleration and deceleration.
Specification: Voltage of fuel pressure sensor is increased during acceleration.
- Is voltage within specification?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good fuel control module and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel control module and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good fuel pressure sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
