AAT Inspection

Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
Disconnect AAT connector.
Turn "ON" the ignition switch.

Measure resistance between power terminal and control terminal of the sensor connector (Component side)

Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good AAT and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace AAT and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
