Terminal And Connector Inspection

- Disconnect the AAT sensor and ECM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.
- Connect the GDS and go to "Current Data".
- Monitor AAT sensor in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).
- Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?
YES
- Repair the connector. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- The main cause of this code is that CAN signal representing short or open in Ambient Air Temperature circuit from Air Conditioner (FATC) system is detected.
- Check DTCs in Air Conditioner (FATC) system. If there is a code in the system, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of Air Conditioner (FATC) system.
