Terminal And Connector Inspection

  1. Disconnect the AAT sensor and ECM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.
  2. Connect the GDS and go to "Current Data".
  3. Monitor AAT sensor in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).
  4. Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?

    YES 

    NO 

    • The main cause of this code is that CAN signal representing short or open in Ambient Air Temperature circuit from Air Conditioner (FATC) system is detected.
    • Check DTCs in Air Conditioner (FATC) system. If there is a code in the system, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of Air Conditioner (FATC) system.
