Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Voltage Range Check
  1. Open or short in AAT (Ambient Air Temperature) circuit
Prerequisite condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Ambient air temperature sensor output voltage is lower than 0.1V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground.
Case 2
  • Ambient air temperature sensor output voltage is higher than 4.9V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to battery power supply.
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 Second

  • 3rd Driving Cycle
